Port of New Hampshire to install Underwater Surveillance System to increase Port Security

The Port of New Hampshire is scheduled to roll out an underwater surveillance system in the Piscataqua River later this year. Port officials hope that the systems will deter terrorist attacks on bridges, ships and other potential targets. The technology in cooperated into the underwater surveillance system includes sonar equipment and a remotely operated underwater robotic camera, named the Sea Otter.
